Phase 1

Description

Phase 1 is the first phase of the Mr. Incredible Becoming Uncanny meme. It first originated from “The teachers copy vs. What the students get” meme, but then it got turned into the first Uncanny phase in The First MIBU template created, by Mùsicos Cínicos. This is also the second phase in the canny variant, Mr. Incredible Becoming Canny.

Appearance

Phase 1 of the Mr. Incredible Becoming Uncanny meme portrays the character in his normal form, as seen in The Incredibles, with a cartoony and happy face, raised eyebrows, and a red super suit (but no mask) on a grey background. This phase represents Mr. Incredible in a purely happy state, without a hint of uncanniness.

The origin of the image in Phase 1 is A piece of concept art for Mr. Incredible from the 2018 Pixar movie Incredibles 2.

Audio

The origin of the audio in Phase 1 is a track from The Incredibles called "Life's Incredible Again”, which was slowed in the original templates, but has a normal speed in certain later templates.

Trivia

• This and Phase 3 are the only phases to use Life’s Incredible Again in the normal MIBU templates.
  • There are some templates (like All Stars) that use Life’s Incredible Again for more than those two phases though.
  • However, the first MIBU template ever (where 3-6 also originated from) does have the other phases originally having Life’s Incredible Again.

Scare Factor

Template:Scare Factor The scare factor of Phase 1 is zero since there is no disturbing imagery, with Mr. Incredible having a warm grin and the happy music playing. Because of this, Phase 1 lacks any uncanniness, and is more "Canny" than anything. since it’s only the first phase after all.
